Casablanca Fan Models are available using several different control methods. When purchasing a Casablanca fan your model will come packaged using one of the following control methods. Some fans only come with one control method while others will come with several different choices.
You must specify at the time of ordering which control method you want on your fan.

Intelli Touch	Intelli Touch Series Casablanca Fans allow for control of 6 fan speeds, light dimming, reversing of directions, all from a convenient wall control switch. Additional switches are available should you desire to control your fan and light on a three way circuit. This switch will work in any location where you currently have an overhead light with a on/off switch located at the wall. Planning Information: If you are wiring the fan into a new room you will need only 14-2 wire with ground from the wall control switch up to the fan. Each Intelli Touch switch can control only one Intelli Touch fan and light.
Advanta Touch	Advanta Touch Series Casablanca Fans allow controlling of 6 fan speeds, full dimming of the lights, and reversing of fan blade direction via remote control. Additional Advanta Touch remote controls are available if you would like to control the fan from several locations.. The remote control can be also be mounted to your wall and removed as needed. This control system will work in any location where you currently have an overhead light and does not require a wall control switch. Planning Information: If you are wiring your fan in a new room you will need only 14-2 wire with ground running to the fan. No wall control switch is needed.
Versa Touch	Versa Touch Series Casablanca Fans allow controlling of 3 fan speeds, full dimming of the lights, and reversing of fans speeds from a convenient remote control. Additional Versa Touch remote controls are available if you would like to control the fan from several locations.. The remote control can be also be mounted to your wall and removed as needed. This control system will work in any location where you currently have an overhead light and does not require a wall control switch. Planning Information: If you are wiring your fan in a new room you will need only 14-2 wire with ground running to the fan. No wall control switch is needed.
Pull Chain Series	Pull Chain Series Casablanca Fans allow for control of three speeds from the fan chain, and on/off control of the light. These fans can be installed in any location which has an overhead light. Planning information Standard: If you are wiring a new room the minimum requirement is 14-2 wire to the fan from a power source. No wall switch is needed since the fan speeds and fan light can be controlled by the pull chains. Planning Information Optional: If you are wiring a new room and want to control the fan speeds and light settings at the wall you will need to run 14-3 wire with ground from the wall control switch to the fan and purchase optional wall control switches
